Client: Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design / Year: 2009

DETOUR is the annual design event hosted by Hong Kong Ambassadors of Design, aimed at showcasing Hong Kong as a regional creative hub and featuring inspiring designs from Hong Kong’s young and emerging creative talents. DETOUR engages the wider community and brings the entire city together to celebrate the synergy of local and international creative ventures.

It was the first year to host a wide range of creative events at the Hong Kong heritage anchor site – the Former Police Married Quarters on Hollywood Road at Central. We were commissioned to design a brand new identity to cope with the launch of the new site.

The new identity simply reinforces the meaning of the title with fresh yellow and black, the project included identity, promotional items and website. It successfully attracted massive attention from both public and local communities.

由香港設計大使主辦、DETOUR2009旨在發揚香港為創意設計樞紐之地位，向國際展示本地年青及新進設計人才的力量，及聯繫社區至國際的創意企業。

DETOUR2009首次在歷史建築－香港中環前荷李活道已婚警察宿舍舉行，09年的全新形象以最簡潔的線條並採用黃黑色作主調，配合簡單易明的資訊系統，向參與者展示最清晰的活動資訊。
